If you are an entrepreneur or you just like to learn great things in business you probably will enjoy watching these movies. They work very good as inspiration and when I feel I’m losing that flow or motivation I try to watch them again.
Sometimes an entrepreneur loses motivation either by obstacles, sentimental events, lack of sales, etc. The key is to not give up and keep fighting for your dream.
I recommend the following 3 Movies that an Entrepreneur should watch:
1. Pursuit of Happiness
This film is one of my favorites because it shows the struggle and the worst moments that almost all live Entrepreneurs.
I have known many achievers, some millionaires or not, but most of them love their jobs or businesses. What they have told me most of them is like before triumphing before being famous or millionaires your closest friends laughed at them, or as the girlfriend or wife leaves that do not believe in her boyfriend and dreams etc. Believe me not all happens but if most Entrepreneurs.
Will Smith’s next film acts the character Christopher Gardner and teaches us the lowest moments of his life, worth watching.
Synopsis – The film is based on the true story of Christopher Gardner and his device known as “bone density scanner.” Being better than current technology and therefore more expensive, Gardner can not sell his invention. In this context, his wife leaves him and loses his house, bank account and credit cards. Forced to live on the street with her son, Gardner is desperate to find a stable job and gets a job as a stockbroker, but will spend six months training before they can receive a salary.
“Do not let anyone tell you you’re unable to do anything, or if I want. If you have a dream, you must keep it. If you want something, go out and get it, period. You know ?, people who can not get their dreams often tell others that did not fulfill theirs “.will SMITH -. Chris Gardner
2. The Wolf of Wall Street
“The only thing between your goal and you, is the story you keep telling yourself you why you can not achieve” Jordan Belfort
This film is based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, who started as a stockbroker in New York. He began selling shares in a large corporation but lived a bad time when the stock market collapsed, the firm closed and have to look for a new job.
As Jordan Belfort is a great salesman, gets a job at a small company selling Penny Stocks, better known as penny stocks. Jordan to see the great opportunity to gain margin% was in the sales commission decides to create and open his own company. That is Jordan Belfort opens a brokerage firm penny stocks and grows while a firm that manages large companies like Steve Madden and other actions done.
Jordan Belfort does not handle the pace of life of an eccentric millionaire New York and gets into trouble with the law. In order not want to tell the end.
3. The Social Network
There is some controversy in this film, it is the life of Mark Zuckerberg and his career during the creation of Facebook. This movie has some humor and drama, try to show the “dark side” of Mark but ultimately we know we have many benefits and that Facebook is changing the world.
This film was directed by David Fincher. Released on October 1, 2010 in the United States, it is based on the book Accidental Billionaires by Ben Mezrich, and tells the story of the popular social network Facebook. The screenplay was by Aaron Sorkin and starring roles belong to Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake, who play Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin and Sean Parker respectively (the first two are the creators of Facebook, while the the latter is one of the founders of Napster, who in 2004 joined the president of Facebook).
We lived on farms. Then we lived in cities, now let’s live in the network.
